Praying for Mary’s Comfort from A to Z

Please join with me in prayer for these requests:

Advancement - Pray that we keep the advancement of the Gospel as our focus. (Acts 28:31).

Boldness - Ask God to give us boldness in our actions and words (Acts 1:8).

Church Partnerships - Pray for opportunities for Mary’s Comfort undergird the work of local churches and that they be quickened to partner with us to fulfill the mandates of God. (II Corinthians 8:23b).

Direction - Pray for God to direct the future paths He has purposed for our ministry. (John 12:26)

Education - Pray that we will educate these women and children in a solid foundation of God's word. (Proverbs 1:7)

Funds - Ask God to raise up the needed funds for ministry goals to be fulfilled for His Kingdom. (II Corinthians 8:1-7)

God’s favor - Pray for God's blessings on our efforts and for the women and children we serve.(II Thessalonians 2:16-17)

Helpers - Pray for God's provision of willing vessels that will step out of their comfort zone and be a blessing. (Philippians 1:3-5)

India - Pray for the orphanages and missionaries in India (and around the world) to be safe in God's hands. Pray for the widows and children in need of food, clothing and an education. Pray the Lord's protection on these women and children. (II Thessalonians 3:3)

Joy - Joy and happiness are missing from the lives of most widows and orphans. Pray that we will share the true joy and satisfaction found only in Christ. (John 10:10)

Kingdom Growth - Pray that widows and orphans will accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and the Kingdom of Heaven will expand with these precious souls. (Luke 14:23)

Life -Pray that the women and children will understand and accept God's gift of eternal life in Him. (John 4:14)

Missions - Ask God to send missionaries to help us reach out to more widows and orphans and that He would grant health and safety to the volunteers who will travel to us on mission trips. (Matthew 9:38)

Needs - Ask God to use us to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of the widows and orphans He places in our paths. (Philippians 4:19)

Open Doors - Ask God to open wide and keep open the doors of opportunity within each community, home and family that we serve. (Colossians 4:5)

Protection - Pray that God will protect the widows and orphans' minds from the corrupt world about them. Pray protection on missionaries as they travel throughout the year and minister to the area widows and orphans. (Ephesians 6:11)

Quality - Pray that the work of Mary’s Comfort will be built on quality discipleship with eternal results. (II Timothy 4:2)

Responsibility - Pray for us to always have reverence and respect for our calling to serve the wives of God and the children of their Father. (Isaiah 54:5, Psalm 68:5)

Summer Interns - Pray that we will have a team of summer interns that will radiate God's love to the children. (I Timothy 4:12)

Trust - Pray that widows and orphans, who have been unable to trust anyone in their lives, will learn the peace of trusting in Christ. (Psalm 20:7)

Usefulness - Pray that the Mary’s Comfort staff will be useful vessels in God's mighty hands. (Isaiah 64:8)

Victory - Ask God to give us victory over spiritual warfare that His work may not be hindered. (II Thessalonians 3:2)

Weary- The ministry care-givers can grow weary. Pray that they will be encouraged and that they will learn to find rest in Christ when weariness comes. (Matthew 11:28-30)

Xenophilia - Pray that we will have xenophilia, a love and appreciation for other cultures, so that we might minister more effectively. (Colossians 3:11)

You - Ask God to show you how you may serve Him best in prayer, mission opportunities or financial support with us. (Isaiah 58:10)

Zeal - Pray that our ministry teams and supporting partners will possess a true zeal for the work of God. (Titus 2:13-14)
